Cannot download pass to Apple Wallet.

I keep getting the message Safari cannot download this file. There seems to be no place to add passes, only credit cards and driver's licenses in the app. What's going on. I had a museum pass in Apple Wallet that had expired. When I went to upload a new one, it wouldn't let me do it.

This issue started as soon as I updated to iOS 16. Wallet My wallet app is missing the edit passes button that used to be present at the bottom, many people have addressed this issue but gotten zero real responses, no guide present on the internet has an explanation for this as they all state it’s there yet as I see it, it is not. I have multiple passes probably over 50 so the whole “it doesn't show up if only one or two passes are present” does not apply to me. Truly looking for a fix as I’m not trying to manually delete these as half of them are expired yet your system cannot even recognize that right.

Unable to add Apple Store Gift Cards to Wallet I have tried to add some new Apple Store gift cards to my Wallet. I am using the Edit Passes method. However after scanning the QR code and selecting the “Open in Safari” selection, I get this message in Safari: This website is trying to show you a Wallet pass. Do you want to allow this? the two options are Ignore or Allow. When I select Allow, Safari does not open the add to wallet page, but returns to the Favorites page. I have tried several times, including closing Safari and Wallet.

Please contact the pass issuer if they have enabled the feature called "Add to Apple Wallet" for the pass they have issued.
