FCPX...Transitions / effects not working since recent update?

In 10.6.2 you can no longer drag and drop transitions from the Transitions browser to connected clips, nor to replace a transition in the primary storyline. To apply a transition select the clip or edit point you want to add the transition to, then double click the transition in the browser that you want to add to the project. 

This is a huge blow to my workflow, is there any chance it will be fixed soon?!? I've spent 45 minutes just trying to find this answer 😂 . Any way thanks for the info! Hopefully this gets patched soon!

This change isn’t mentioned because it was probably unintentional.

Yes - why..... and without any kind of note from "support". Pretty pathetic for a "professional post-production" application team.

But as they say: When all else fail, lower your expectations :-D
