Airtags and family sharing?

Wife has Apple ID. I have Apple ID. We are on family sharing. She sets up AirTag on her hm phone. I set up another on mine. Can we track each other?

No, AirTags are visible in Find My only on devices signed in to the Apple ID with which they were set up.

AirTag family sharing For my apple devices I can allow family members to see their location. For AirTags this is currently not possible. This is impractical with shared care keys etc. is there an intent to add family sharing of the location of an AirTag?
