When is Apple going to fix Quicktime X so it is more similar to Quicktime 7?

I am stuck with Mojave OS because of Quicktime X horrible user interface. Who in their right mind puts the user controls over the content?

There are many characteristics of Quicktime 7 that were left out of Quicktime X, but the worst of all is the user interface overtop of the content. It does not belong there. Apple should at least make it user selectable. Give me the option to move it out of the content window.

I'll never buy a new Mac in the future because of this.

I have two Macs running Mojave and one running High Sierra.

This BS about moving the mouse arrow out of the window is NOT a solution. I can't scrub through video without this huge control thing over the content.
