Trying to add adult son back to Family Sharing

I accidentally deleted my son (19-years-old) from our Family Sharing. I tried adding him back in, but he's not able to open the invitation. I've tried sending it to him via text, email and in-person. Nothing works. He clicks on the invitation and it doesn't do anything. Please help.
