Lasso tool missing

Lasso tool in notes is missing. iPad Pro 11” 15.4.1

The old Lasso tool ( dashed, lasso looking icon ) has been replaced by the selection ( Lasso ) pen with spiral stripes around the tip of the pen.

THAT pen is the new selection ( Lasso ) tool.

Works just like the old Lasso ( selection ) icon/tool.

The Lasso tool is gone from the notes app I recently was using my notes app and the lasso tools has disappeared from the tool bar. I've tried restarting the app and my iPad, I've gone through every notes app setting and apple pencil setting I could fine but it's jut gone and I can't get it to come back. Someone help!

iPad pro 12.9 2020, Lasso-style selection tool problem in default iPad notes app For instance, when you open two apps, open some reader apps on the left and notes app on the right, writing, drawing, and erasing are working on the notes app perfectly. However, if I choose to Lasso-style selection tool to select some writing to move, it is not working. If I open only the notes app, then all the tools are working fine. I have another iPad pro 11(2018). With this iPad, it is working fine.
