Apple ID

My Grandaughter borrowed an old iPhone and created an ID alongside my original one. She can’t remember the password and I can’t delete her ID. I’ve just transferred all my Data to my new iPhone 11 and cannot use some of the Apps, including email as it is asking for the password for her ID! How can I get rid of her ID so I can use my phone properly? This is driving me insane! Thanks

iPhone 11, iOS 15

A request for another Apple ID password is often caused by app purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. After deleting the apps, it may be necessary to restart the device/computer before you can download the apps again. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
