How do I activate or turn on the mic mode feature on new studio display? I have tried the recommended strategies such as using the control centre on the top menu. I click and nothing happens, no drop downs. I have sound coming out but the mic doesn't seem to be on.

If you have a mic connected, go to System Preferences >Sound > Input and choose the mic desired. You can find additional information in Take a tour: Studio Display.
