How do I activate or turn on the mic mode feature on new studio display? I have tried the recommended strategies such as using the control centre on the top menu. I click and nothing happens, no drop downs. I have sound coming out but the mic doesn't seem to be on.

After connecting your display, you should be able to use System Preferences to control the microphones on your Studio Display: Customize your Mac with System Preferences

If you have a mic connected, go to System Preferences >Sound > Input and choose the mic desired. You can find additional information in Take a tour: Studio Display.

Thank you, it’s my MacBook Pro. It doesn’t have the Apple silicone chip so not all features are supported.
