Application recommendation to free mac storage

I'm wondering if anyone could recommend a utility application to free/clean up mac storage.

Before anyone judges/argues that Mac doesn't need an optimizing/cleaning application or just does multiple commands in the terminal and manually reviews large size folders,

My objective is to systemically and periodically delete cache, log and orphan folders/files with ease.

For instance, the user home folder (mainly in library/application support) will grow substantially so does the "system data".

Going in mutiple folder locations and deleting them manually isn't efficent, that is why Im keen to know if there is any option out there to do a "one click and done".

Many thanks

I like the paid version of DaisyDisk to reduce "Purgeable" space.

As to clearing up space generally on your drive, efficient or not to you, delete user data ... what you created or copied. Never delete any system type files or folders. There are only five default user data folders: Downloads, Documents, Pictures, Movies and Music. If you created custom folders, yes, you've complicated the delete process.

If you want to keep the data, put it on an external drive or use a cloud storage service. iCloud Drive is not an autonomous long term storage solution.

As for clearing Cache files, a restarting in Safe Mode. This will perform a Disk Repair, clear cache files and only load Apple Software, extensions and fonts. The boot up will be slow and can take some time - Normal.

What is “Other” storage on a Mac, and how can I clean it out?

The final word from Apple on Managing the " Other " Category

Other: Contains files that don’t fall into the categories listed here. This category primarily includes files and data used by the system, such as log files, caches, VM files, and other runtime system resources. Also included are temporary files, fonts, app support files, and plug-ins. You can't manage the contents of this category. The contents are managed by macOS, and the category varies in size depending on the current state of your Mac.
