Dear community

Messages are grouped by apps on my main screen.

As soon as I open one message, all the other notifications disappear.

Is this this a setting I can handle myself?

Kind regards

Thanks for getting back to us, and supplying that screenshot, bedu. It's helpful!

These are the steps provided to change this behavior. From: Use notifications on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support

"Change group notification settings

  1. Go to Settings and tap Notifications.
  2. Select an app and tap Notification Grouping.
  3. Select one of these options:

  • Automatic: The notifications from the app are grouped according to organizing criteria within the app, such as by topic or thread.

  • By App: All the notifications from the app are grouped together.

  • Off: Turn off grouping."

All the best.

Thanks for clarifying this for us, bedu,

Just to be sure we're on the same page, are you referring to your notifications on the Home Screen or when you view them within the app itself?

You can learn more about how your notifications are managed here: View and respond to notifications on iPhone - Apple Support

Show recent notifications on the Lock Screen
You can allow access to Notification Center on the Lock Screen.
1. Go to Settings  > Face ID & Passcode (on an iPhone with Face ID) or Touch ID & Passcode (on other iPhone models).
2. Enter your passcode.
3. Scroll down and turn on Notification Center (below Allow Access When Locked).

Kind regards.

Hello bedu,

We understand you're experiencing some issues with notifications. To help facilitate additional replies from the Community please share the following:

  • How are your apps grouped?
  • Do notifications disappear for one app or all apps?
  • Has this behavior always happened on your Mac, or is this a recent change?

Regards.
