Notes checklist glitching

Using iPad mini 15.4.1 (same issue before updating to latest)

-Checklist circles disappear and reappear.

-In split-screen (with notes or safari), moving the notes page up or down causes it to instantly readjust to another part of the page. (I suspect it’s behaving as if the checklist circles are not there, which would make the page a different length)

Has become too aggravating to use! Help?

Thanks.

Hello there kristafromlancaster,

Thanks for posting here on the Apple Support Communities! This is a place where other Apple users can submit questions or respond to others to help lend a hand. Let's take a closer look as we do our best to provide some additional insight.

To get started, does this keep happening even after a restart? Also, does it happen with all of them, or just specific ones?

If the issue is reproducible and has happened over multiple updates, you may also want to contact Apple Support directly to report the issue as well: Contact Apple for support and service

We wish you the best of luck!

Take care.

Thank you.

-restart/hard restart has no effect on issue.

-shorter lists, of about 100 lines, are unaffected.

-all longer lists jump around when…

I’m a ways down & try to scroll them up or down..,

or sometimes after I place the cursor..,

or occasionally after beginning to type

i think I see what you mean about contacting Apple. This seems like a glitch for them rather than for fellow users. What do you think?

thanks again!

krista
