Home Screen Swiping Ridiculously Hard

I got an iPad 9 recently and have a Smart Connector keyboard attached.

Sometimes the trackpad bugs out and touch input (mainly scrolling) is delayed

Also its obnoxiously hard to swipe between home screen pages (i have 3)

So here’s my question:

Is there a keyboard shortcut that I can use to jump to a specific home page (such as Globe + 1/2/3/etc.) instead of using the row of dots on the bottom when moving apps around?

Or, are there any tips you can provide to make swiping between home screens easier?

Your help will be greatly appreciated :]

(PS - The first image is the default view and the second image is when I can move the apps around)
