Space bar in Finder

Finder used to open photos and documents in a large enough resolution when I pressed space bar while on the file. Now it seems only opens them in a thumbnail. Does anyone know how can I make Finder to open them again in a big resolution?

This is macOS Monterey - 12.3.1

You are not alone, It's a bug. Not everyone experiences the problem but many do. You can try killing the QuickLookService in Activity Monitor and see if that fixes it temporarily. The service will restart and for some people it's working.

There you go, yes, Quick Look.
I tried: jpg, png, pdf and docx (this last one is good, it still opens in a nice, usable size)

Booting into Safe Mode and then booting normally seems to work.

Not so sure about .docx files. None of my Monterey installs will preview .docx files. Perhaps one needs Microsoft Office installed for that to work.
