below trash there is an archive folder!! I have not archived anything do not use gmail. Would like to get rid of it! if I hit on it and hit delete it says it will delete the whole email acct is that true.. Do not want that just want to get rid of the annoying archive folder??

Right click, delete should only delete that folder and its contents (not the whole account). It can always be added back later if needed.
there is no right click.Using Monterey now. Only way to delete is to go up to menu and hit delete mailbox?? is there another key I should hold down perhaps?TY

Okay. So when id do that. It says it will delete my mailbox with my main email!!.It should just say it will delete the archive..
Normally it should but if it's giving that warning don't delete it. An iCloud account acts like that.
