iPhone SE 2020 won't generate full volume

Since installing the AirPod app (I don't know where it is, or what it looks like, but my new Airpods work) my iPhone will no longer produce full volume, even if the volume slider is full high. Not on phone speaker, not on BlueTooth devices, including AirPods.

There is no such thing as an AirPods app. This is why you cannot find it on your iPhone and do not know what it looks like. Double Check the following setting:

Open Settings ➡️ Sound & Haptics ➡️ Headphone Safety ➡️ Reduce Loud Sounds: Set this to OFF.
