Earlier watch was replaced by Apple due to software update issue and now it’s repeated again when am trying to connect with New iPhone 13pro max..

I kept getting messages that the iPhone could not connect to the Internet. I was told by Apple Support that I now needed to bring the watch and iPhone to the Apple Store to see if Genius Bar could update the watch software otherwise I would have to return the Apple watch again. It seems from search that this issue has a history since 2017. Is there another technical “fix” for this I’ve not been made aware ? I waited a week to receive the replacement watch and my next available apple store appointment isn’t until Friday. He said if store can’t update I may have to mail back this “new” one too .

march 2022 update bricked my 1 yr old apple iphone 13, watch 3 March 2022 update. I picked it up to check on progress and watch charger fell off. The update never started back. Holding Digital Crown and side button brought back apple logo, but then the watch to pairing logo. At least 50 attempts have been done…once I got the red circle exclamation point. Can’t see anything else. iPhone 13 watch app is locked on continue pairing screen…it has been erased and reinstalled several times. local Mac dealer and T-Mobile could not get different results. I’m convinced the update killed my watch, that is always kept up to date. vicki Ross

Unpaired Apple Watch not updating with new phone, won’t pair My Apple Watch hasn’t been used in over a year. I had misplaced it. Trying to pair it with my new phone. It will not get past the software update request. Every time I receive an error, “Unable to check for Update.” Tried soft reset on both devices. How do I get the watch paired? Been trying different things for hours.

The apple watch 3 GPS only has only 8GB of internal storage, most of that is taken

up by the operating system and other critical software with not much space left for the

update.So installing or even pairing to an ios15 phone is proving nearly

impossible for just about all the watch 3 users on this forum.

same applies to Apple watch 1 and 2 they are almost impossible to either pair or

update with an ios 14 or ios15 phone.

Your best course of action is to call in at an apple store and ask them to pair/update it for you.
