Apple Intelligence is now available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac!
Hey, I had Universal Control working great for about a week but now my Macbook Pro won't connect to my iPad.
When I go into display settings I see that "Automatically reconnect to any nearby Mac or iPad" is unchecked but when I click it it doesn't change to being checked.
Can anyone help with this?

Have you tried a normal restart of both your MacBook Pro and iPad? If so, be sure the iPadOS is fully updated. Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
You can also test the behavior in a new user account and safe mode to help.

Then reconnect to test using the steps here: Universal Control: Use a single keyboard and mouse between Mac and iPad
Additionally, if you continue to have issues with the feature or any other continuity features after restarting and fully updating reach out to Apple Support directly.

Good Day, I too have this issue where I cannot check the box. In the past if you disabled handoff in GENERAL settings, restarted it would let you check the box but something has changed now and that no longer works. My 9th gen iPad and 2021 Macbook Air M1 can no longer use Universal access. Any suggestions?
