Apple ID : forgot password and don't have access to old phone number

Ipad is locked to Apple ID it keeps asking me for a phone number ending with 20; but I don't recall having that number associated with my Apple ID... want to know if there is an email option.

Enter the Apple (iCloud) ID, and click Forgot Password. See if you can get a Rescue or Notification email option. Link to contact Apple Support at the end of the 2nd article.
