Video clips not playing properly anymore

I just upgraded to FCP X 10.6.2 and some h264 files are no longer playing back properly (though they work fine in VLC and in older versions of FCP... HEVC files from the same camera work. just fine). They stutter and are mostly black with a skipping of the video. I can't render the files out plus transcoding getting stuck at 99% so I can't work with proxies or optimized clips.

The A**9 drive is full.

disk2s1 - A**9
255.87 GB (251.57 GB used, 4.28 GB free)
Mount point: /Volumes/A**9

Also, where did these H.264 files come from? A GoPro? We've had intermittent issues where GoPro 10 video turns black. Quitting FCP and reopening the library has always fixed it though.

Sure thing. Sorry for the delay (my son just got sick), but I shot a few sample clips for you to compare.

Do the h264 videos play normally for you in FCPX or just the h265 ones?

I also grabbed the video details from VLC. Is this sufficient for what you're looking for? If not, you should be able to check out the additional detail from the video files themselves.
