Hey helpiphone12promax,

This is often times the result of a poor connection, but just to rule out any microphone issues, go ahead and go to Voice Memo app and create a new recording and play it back to see how your voice sounds. If it sounds normal, this indicates a poor connection during the phone call is the likely reason for this occurring.

I recorded a voice memo and it played back clear. I really do not think it's an interference issue, as my husband does not have the same problem with his phone. I believe it's an Apple issue. The same thing happened to the last phone I owned after about 1 1/2 years. I've had this phone about the same length of time. It happens sporadically; there's no rhyme or reason to it, but it's awful when a client tells you, you sound like a robot. I can hang up and immediately call them back and the sound is fine.
