watch isnt syncing with health app

The move ring isn't syncing with the health app on my iphone. When I finish a workout, all the active calories are recorded in my health app but only some of them are recorded for my move ring. There has even been times when I get a notification during a workout that I closed my move ring but, when I finish the workout, the move ring isn't closed and not all of the calories were counted. How do you fix this?
