blocked user - what do they see on their apple phone if I am their contact?

if its an apple user that I blocked will they get the notification that the message was not delivered if they have read messages requested even though I have read message notification turned off for them? what does it show on their side if not? (they have iphone 11, i have iphone 12 pro max).
