Green box around buttons in certain apps

I seem to have accidentally turned on what I am assuming is an accessibility feature and I’m not sure how to turn it back off again.

A green box appears around certain buttons but only in one game app. This makes it impossible to play or choose any buttons that aren’t highlighted.

I have gone into settings > accessibility and made sure that switch control and voice control are both turned off. I’ve then turned off every accessibility feature I could find and restarted my phone, but it will not go away.

Any other ideas?

Hi LollyJay,

Checking Accessibility features was a great step to try. Since this only happens in one game, have you checked the settings for that specific game yet? If not, see if there are options that that will remove the green box. If you need more help, contacting the app developer will be the next step. They may be able to provide you with additional information on how to remove the green box from their app.
