Garage band export single track

Hi all. Similar question was already posted here exporting single tracks from a garageband… - Apple Community. Problem is that, when i solo the track from the project it exports it as single track but the lenght is the length of of the longest track in the project. So if i have track_1 of the length 3mins and track_2 of the length 1min and i solo track_2 and export it renders 1min of track_2 and then 2minutes of silence because it takes length from the longest one. This sounds like bug, in previous versions of garage band it didnt behave like that. Do you have any idea how i could solve it?

you may want to mark the part of the track that you want with the Cycle Region. Click the button with the two chasing arrows, then drag the ends of the yellow bar marking the cycle region across the part of the track you want to export, when you share the song to the disk.

Or you could simply duplicate the project and delete all tracks yo do not want to include from the copy, then the length should also be correct.
