I read this thread and tried the fix however, it has not worked for appointments older than 6 or 7 months. I am able to use the search function on my Mac Book Pro and it works, but not on my phone. This is a recent development. When will this be rectified in IOS 15?

Where is the calendar events stored on your iPhone? Please add the email account, that's it.

When you add events to the Calendar it gets added to the Default Calendar set on your device.

Thank you for responding. My iPhone was already set up this way. When I conduct a search in the Calendar app on my MAC, I am able to locate appointments from years past. When I try to locate the same appointment on my phone, I am unable. This is new, and I wonder if it has something to do with the IOS updates. Any further thoughts?
iPhone 13 Pro user on current iOS (as of 5/11/2022). I’m suddenly now experiencing the same icalendar search issues as of yesterday, 5/10/2022. I cannot search for an past events and it rarely yields results of searches for future events. All accounts linked to the calendar are set up correctly, “all events” are selected for syncing, and I can see the event if I click on it the corresponding day. This is posing a real issue for me & restarting has done nothing to resolve. Please help!!!!

I am unable to search my calendar or my notes. I have upgraded to 15.5 on my 12 Pro Max and it hasn’t made any difference. On the phone with Apple support for well over An hour and no answers. It has been doing this for well over a month. I can find a conduct the same searches on my ipad and it works fine. This has been so frustrating!
