I am a professional voiceover artist, I used the Rode NT USB mic with my iPad Pro 2nd generation with no issues. But since trading it in for the iPad Pro 4th generation, the mic won’t work with it. Does anyone know why this is happening and if the problem can be resolved? Thanks.

It looks like your mic connects by USB and the iPad Pro uses USB-C. Make sure you're using a compatible adapter. Try testing with a different adapter. Check that the Mic works with another device.

We found another thread with a similar issue.
IPad Air 4 doesn’t work with Rode NT USB microphone
They state that after testing this specific model may not be compatible.
If that is the case, reaching out to the manufacture may be the best option.

Apple cannot fix individual third party accessory problems or compatibiity issues. It is quite possible that your older mic is no longer compatible with the newer device/iOS. Developers of third party devices need to update theirs. Contacting their support may result in a quicker answer.
The mic is definitely not compatible with the newer iPad Pro and IOS system. However, my colleague uses the same mic with a new iPad Air and IOS system and it works. So perhaps the problem lies with the newer iPad Pro. The mic also works with the newest MacBook Air laptop and the newest iPhone. So I think there is definitely a compatibility issue with the iPad Pro 4th generation.
Thanks for your reply. Do you mean contacting the manufacturer of the microphone? I don’t think the microphone is the issue as it works with other iPad models, the MacBook Air laptop and the iPhone. I think the issue is specifically with the iPad 4th generation and IOS. Which is pretty poor and disappointing. Can Apple remedy the situation?
