Purchased Movie: Sound But No Picture

I purchased Escape Room: Tournament of Champions on my AppleTV. I watched the default (extended) cut by simply pressing play, no problem. Then I tried to watch the theatrical cut. The cut plays sound but there’s no picture, just a black screen. Subtitles show up, and the slider when I scroll ahead shows scene shots, but no matter where I scroll to, no picture. I tried turning subtitles off. I tried restarting my device. Everything else on my AppleTV works fine, so it’s not an HDMI issue. What gives?
