Can’t open screen or swipe on iPhone xs

Unavailable is the new word for locked due to someone trying too many times to open it with wrong passcode.

It can be caused by turning on in your pocket or even a faulty screen

You can sometimes remedy this without a computer if on iOS 15.2 or later by tapping on "erase iPhone" , but you will still need the Apple ID password. It will WIPE the phone, no choice!
