My trackpad swipe options all freeze

I'm running 12.3.1 on my 2021 MacBook Pro. My trackpad swipe options all freeze, unconnected to any action I seem to take. Only a restart corrects, until the next time. Thanks for any suggestions!

Frozen trackpad after update I just updated my MacBook to Mojave and now my trackpad freezes after startup. It moves fine at password window but as soon as it starts up and displays main window trackpad freezes snd mouse pointer stays in the last place it was as i hit enter at sign in.

Freezing trackpad issue I'm trying to fix a 2019 Macbook Pro that has been having a trackpad issue. The trackpad will freeze upon waking/opening the lid and there is no way to fix it other than waiting it out. I booted the Macbook into safe mode and it seems to have fixed it for the most part. There is some jerkiness when scrolling but it's not freezing. Where do I go from here? What could be causing the issue? Thank you.

Try the following:

▷ Update macOS.

▷ Try Safe Mode.

▷ Use Apple Diagnostics to test your Mac.

If that does not help, then get expert service and support at the Genius Bar.
