Importing FCPXML generated from Davinci Resolve

I created a short movie in FCPX (using footage shot on a Blackmagic 4K camera and QT proxies generated from Resolve). Once I got my cut, I imported the timeline/project into Resolve via FCPXML. Most everything translated into a Resolve timeline and I proceeded to color correct my clips. Once finished I rendered out the timeline. Resolve generated a FCPXML file with the rendered clips. You're supposed to import that file into FCPX, where it creates a new event with a project/timeline of the color corrected clips.

I've tried to import my Resolve generated FCPXML file but keep getting these error messages. It's strange that the error states that the file was generated from Final Cut Pro, when it was generated by Resolve. Anyway - I could send my proxies off line and reconnect to the color corrected clips, but I'm wondering why FCPX will not import the XML Resolve created????? If anyone has ideas, please share.

I am working on a Mac Studio w/M1 Ultra, Monterey 12.3.1, FCPX 10.6.2, and Davinci Resolve 18 beta - so everything is up to date. Thanks in advance!

The message (as far as shown) tells you that a resource (probably a clip) has the wrong type or format

So open the XML with a text editor and search for the first occurence of id="r55" (including quotes).

Within the line for this asset you'll find a file path and other attributes/data for this file, open this file and check.

You can publish the XML portion which includes the "resources":

<fcpxml version="1.xx">
    <resources>
    ...
    </resources>
    ...
</fcpxml>

This can make it easier to figure out what happened
