Hello ChristianBF,

The 'Full Screen' setting in Settings > Phone > Incoming Calls will be for switching between the 'notification' of the incoming call taking up the full display, or if you want to have the incoming call display as a banner at the top of the screen, such as with a traditional notification.

It can also help to check on the source of the contact that's calling. For example, is it a contact that's synced via a third-party service, or is it in iCloud? You can check the synced accounts for Contacts in Settings > Contacts > Accounts. As a test, try having just iCloud contacts enabled, and see if this helps for contact photos from individuals linked to that service.

Cheers.

Actually, your full screen is working correctly. As Eric_G1 was explaining, that settings you show in your first image has to do with the notification style. A banner would not take up the full screen, it would just show a banner across the top of the screen, not covering what you may have been doing on the phone at the time.

I believe you may be asking about getting the caller's photo full screen, am I correct? While you are only seeing the call information at the top and the rest is just the Accept and Decline button, that is the correct way to get a full screen notification. The ability to get a full-screen photo has gone through a number of changes as phones have evolved. You can try clicking on your contact's card and trying to edit the photo and then saving it again. Sometimes that works, but not always. I still get calls with a full-screen photo of the caller, and sometimes no. I cannot say if there is a definitive way to correct this except to try that photo edit workaround, but the setting you describe above does not have anything to do with changing it, except that if you do have it set for Banner, you will only get a small banner at the top of the screen and would never get a full-screen photo then.
