What is the app sociallayered.app in the iCloud setting used for?

I see the app sociallayered.app used for in the iCloud settings? What does it replicate into the iCloud? I am using Mac OS 12.3.1

Hello jmbarry,

In the screenshot, it appears that the app may have been removed or deleted from your device. Just to confirm, did you recently remove or delete an app from your Mac? More about uninstalling apps here: How to uninstall apps on your Mac

You can find some good information about managing iCloud settings, and how turning on iCloud for an app works here: Change your iCloud settings

When you turn on iCloud for an app, its information is safely stored in iCloud and automatically kept in sync across your devices. When you turn it off, the app will no longer connect with iCloud, so your data will exist only on your device. You can choose which apps on your device you'd like to use iCloud, or turn off iCloud completely.

Thanks!
