Double phone number in contacts

Dear apple community,

Im having a problem with my iphone, i have a lot of contact wich have two phone numbers. Lets say for example "John" has a phone number +31600000000 and 0600000000. I want to remove this and make it one phone number. Because im sending them sms messages and they receive it twice. Is there any tool or something that i can make them have one phone number?

I have alot of contacts and dont want to do this 1 by 1.

Help is greatly appreciated.

Greetings,

Qwerty

You may have stored the same contacts in multiple email accounts.

Either remove the contacts from the rarely used email account or disable contacts from the rarely used mail account in the iOS Mail app.

Unlike some Android devices, contacts are neither stored locally on an iPhone nor in SIM. They are synced to an email account that you had Google, iCloud, AOL, Exchange, Outlook, Yahoo or any Other
