I cannot unlock my locked notes with my finger print. My iPhone is asking for a password but it will not recognize my apple sign in password.
Can anyone help with this please.

When you first licked the Notes you supplied a password which can be anything, diffetent from any other password.
Touch ID bypasses that but if touch ID suffers a hiccup then you need to remember the original password.
Until you remember it then the Notes are locked. Apple cannot help either.

If there’s any “good news” here, it’s that there is no limit or lockout on Notes’ password “failed attempts.”
You can just keep on trying possibilities.
