iPhone alarm goes silent after pushing snooze

It wasn’t doing this before, or at least quite as often. Now it’s done it two nights but not in a row and I’m getting sick of it Apple! I am in the habit of pressing snooze for at least 4-5 times before I get up and I set my alarm accordingly. But now I press snooze once and don’t hear it again until I wake up late in a panic, look at my phone and the screen shows that the alarm is going off but there is no sound. The alarm sound is up, the bar is all the way up in sound and haptics, the ringer volume is up all the way. What is the problem!!!!!?????
