MacBook Pro force restarting when using Lightroom & Capture One

My 2016 MacBook Pro 2016, 16GB running on macOS Monterey v.12.3.1 runs perfectly, except when I try to do anything with Lightroom or Capture One.

I bought it second hand with the intention of editing wedding photography on the go, so this isn't ideal. With Lightroom I couldn't import, export or do any strenuous editing without it crashing, force restarting and going into Kernel Panic. I assumed this was an issue with Lightroom itself, so tried reinstalling to no avail and have now uninstalled creative cloud apps completely and tried capture one. Capture one runs perfectly until it comes to exporting more than one image at a time. It'll get through a few images then repeatedly force restart until you open it without the app open.

I've tried reinstalling macOS and running diagnostics which come through fine. Even took it to a local apple certified store (booked through apple) and they said it was a battery issue....as the battery needs servicing he said this was the problem...I've tried exporting multiple photos while plugged into power and the same thing has happened.

Does anybody have any advice before I give up and send it back to the store I bought it...luckily I'm within my 30 day warranty.
