Gifs play too fast iPhone 13 Max Pro

This happens across all apps-Facebook, Voxer, texting. Very frustrating. Is there a fix for this?

There seems to be something going on among third-party app developers that is causing this, as there have been many similar complaints from Android users.

It could be that GIFs previously relied upon hardware being slow enough to not be able to play them back at full speed, but it's a very common issue.
