Buffing Out Scratches On An iPhone Screen
Has anyone had any luck buffing out slight scratches on an iPhone screen? I have used Cerium Oxide in the past to buff slight scratches out of the glass on my car.
Any ideas are welcomed.

As long as the scratches do not interfere with use, leave them be. Any attempt to buff them out might do more than damage the coating and would probably result in Apple refusing to cover damage under the warranty. Most light scratches will be largely unnoticeable under a screen protector.

You’ll be buffing out whatever coating is used on the surface.
That's true, but I plan to install a protective glass over the screen after I get it cleaned up.
OK. You have convinced me to leave the screen alone. My wife did remind me that when I used the cerium oxide on my car glass I got great results on the glass but ruined a mirror because the silvering was on the NEAR side, not the FAR side.
