Grey Horizontal lines macbook air

I've only had this mac for 3 months and there are now faint grey lines on my screen. my laptop has never been overheated or damaged.

Colored/ black and white horizontal line on MacBook Air(13 inch early 2015) screen Hello, all of a sudden I am facing this issue of colored/black and white horizontal lines on my MacBook Air for the past couple of days. After a while the screen turns completely grey. Has anyone faced similar issues with their Mac? I am unable to take my Mac to an authorized Apple Service Centre because of the ongoing COVID situation. Any suggestions are highly appreciated.

Sadly, if you push the screen back too far, it can damage the connecting inverter cable.

A power surge can also cause such issues.

I would call AppleCare and talk to them about the problem. This is just a user to user forum.
