Wifi not loading in options on Network Preferences after installing Mac OS Monterrey

Hi! I updated to Mac OS Monterrey yesterday on my MacBook Air. I am not able to get Wi-Fi as a network option on the Network Preferences since then. I tried going to Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration and deleted the files and did a safe reboot (as advised in earlier replies to similar queries) to see if the system configuration would get repaired. But that did not work. I still am unable to get the Wi-Fi as an option.

Only options in Network Preferences that I can see is the Thunderbolt. Please advise how I can fix this.
