My headphone do not work on my iPhone 12 mini

My wired EarPods with a lightning connector do not work on my iPhone12 mini. When I plug the headphone in, the iPhone just does not recognize the accessory. Is there a setting I'm missing? Thanks

Everytime I answer a call with the headphones they disconnect and take about 10-15 sec until they reconnect. I’m on ios 16.1.1. Iphone 14 Pro Max, MS Teams, Airpods 3rd Gen A2564 Do NOT WORK Hi, I bought new iPhone 14 Pro Max and today I was connected for my monday meeting on Teams from my iPhone 14 Pro Max with my Airpods 3rd generation. However with multiple tests the users could not hear me, I could hear them fine. I tested with multple people, i even disconnected and reset the Airpods connection. I still have my OLD iPhone 12 Pro max and they still work fine with it. It has to be the above combination of Iphone 14 Pro Max, MS Teams, Airpods 3rd Gen A2564 Do NOT WORK. Please advise. AJ

Issues since 5B58 firmware update? Running the latest software on my iPhone 14 Pro and iPad Air 4. Ever since AirPods firmware 5B58 was released, my AirPods Pro (1st Gen, manufactured in 2021) have been nearly worthless. The right Airpod constantly disconnects and is very difficult to get to reconnect to either device. If I pause a show and then hit play later, I’m getting intermittent sounds, as though I am a long way away from the source Bluetooth signal and it’s cutting out (even though I’m within two feet). And I’m getting recurrent crackling sounds in certain circumstances. They were working perfectly until this week, but now super frustrating. Anyone else experiencing issues?

There isn't a setting you'd need to change. The steps in the following guide should help to resolve the issue: If your headphones don't work with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Have you tried flipping them to the other side?

If the phone is new and they were included with the product what you can do is call apple and they will do a free of charge replacement of the accessory that gets overnighted to you.
