I can update the MacOS, but not the Apps in App Store.

I am logged in to my Apple Account. I can access iCloud, and update the system, but my sign in attempts to the App/iTunes Store fails. There is no wrong password prompt as the password is correct, but it silently refuses me to connect.

I got the hint from leroydouglas and logged into iTune store by visiting the Music App. Once logged into iTune store I could update my apps from App Store.
