How to back up a file from files to iCloud Drive on iPad automatically?

How can I back up my files from files to iCloud Drive? Do I have to copy it from my Ipad and paste it in iCloud Drive?

Go to Settings> Apple ID > iCloud and toggle on iCloud Drive.

Anything in files will then sync to iCloud automatically.

Anything in the Files app will sync to all devices and is available at https://www.icloud.com/iclouddrive/ provided you have syncing engaged and space available in iCloud.
