No delete contact option

On my wife’s iPhoneX she has contacts that won’t let her edit or delete. She has the option to edit things, but when she finishes editing, goes out of that contact card and then back in, it’s reverted back to the old info. There’s also no “delete” button.

We tried to unsync Facebook contacts and other social media apps and those apps don’t even have the contacts option. Please help.

Hey there,

When you press the edit button and drag down do you see the delete button See this article ☞ Manage and delete contacts on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Do you have any restrictions enabled in Settings > Screen Time? Settings > Screen Time > Content & Restrictions?

Are you syncing these contacts with a service (iCloud, Google, etc.)?
What options do you have in Contacts > [Select a contact] > Edit?
Did you have any restrictions enabled?
