Epson Stylus SX535WD scanner not available for MacBook Air M1 2020

Even though there was a post that seemed to resolve the problem it was not the case for me, unfortunately.

Downloading the recent driver did not help.

then delete and newly installing and adding the printer would also not do the trick... any idea about what the exact way is to get it working again??

Does the printer part work?

Yu printer is an Airprint printer and all drivers should be supplied by Apple as part of macOS.

What options are available if you reset the printing system?

Note the the Epson drivers are dated Oct 2020 well before Monterey.

Yes the printer part works just fine and also getting print levels information works fine.

When adding the printer it recognizes the right printer as a Bonjour type printer.

When resetting there are no options just resetting and then the printer is gone.

The Epson driver I did download from the Epson page is actually specified for macOS 12 Monterey.

Checking the driver currently in use this would be version 3.0 for Epson Stylus SX535WD.
