Airpod Pro Replacement Issues

I got some Air Pod Pros but lost one on a trip. Once I got back home I tried to order one online but it keeps giving me an error saying “Oops, something went wrong.

We’re sorry, but we are unable to complete your request at this time. Please try again later or start over now.” I tried to manually input mg serial number and got the same error. I also tried to see what would happen when I tried to replace my old Gen 2 AirPods and it worked perfectly fine with no errors. Please, help I haven’t had the time to go to the Apple Store and I been living on one AirPod for a while.

Hey thealpha4,

Your AirPods will have three different serial numbers, one in each AirPod and one in the case. You'll want to make sure you're using the serial number that is printed on your case or in Settings on your iPhone (they should be the same serial number).

This article will show you how to find it:

Find the serial number of your AirPods - Apple Support

You may want to enter your serial number in their Check Coverage website just to make sure your AirPods were registered when you purchased them. If they weren't registered, you'll be prompted to update your date of purchase when you enter your serial number here and you'll need to contact Apple Support for help with your replacement.

If everything looks good, make sure you're following the guidance in "Replace a lost AirPod" link on the AirPods and AirPods Case Replacement website, and you should be golden.

Hope this helps!

Hi there!

First of all, thanks for your answer, but I am afraid that it doesn't help. I have the same problem and it is not a matter of entering the right serial number. As far as my case is concerned, I type my serial number and then I have the chance of selecting if I want to get a new airpod because I lost it of because it is damaged. Once you click on one of this choices is when you get an error saying that something went wrong. It seems more like a server error than another thing.
