AirPod fell in paint

Hi - one of my airpods fell in paint but it still mostly works. It is low in volume because I can see the paint that is blocking the sound on the ear piece that goes into your ear itself. Is there a way to open these up to clean that piece? It’s like a screen. Toothpick didn’t help get it clean.

My AirPods' volume has dropped off significantly My AirPod volume has dropped off significantly. The last time this happened I accidentally washed them in the washing machine and the volume came back. I am assuming there is some sort of debris in them that makes them less loud.
