Unable to Connect Printer - Error "EPSON ET-2720 Series._ipps._tcp.local"

I am connecting my work MacBook Pro to my printer and it will not allow it. I've seen others in the Community say to put "Secure Airprint" but I do not have that option. It's a 2019 MacBook Pro with macOS Monterey. How can I connect my printer?

Hi,

Is the printer connected to a Wi-Fi router? Is the MacBook Pro connected to the same network?

The Epson ET-2720 is listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a model with support for the driverless AirPrint technology. An AirPrint-enabled printer is compatible with macOS. You should be able to use this model without having to install additional drivers, provided that the printer and the computer are connected to the same network.

In case of difficulties with AirPrint, and if all settings are OK, you could try the following procedure:

Power off the Wi-Fi router, the printer, the MacBook Pro, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the MacBook Pro. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.

A printer's AirPrint capabilities could be tested via an iPhone or iPad.
