voice memos taking a lot of storage

When i go to “Iphone storage ” it shows that the Voice memos is taking 10 Gb although i barley have a 5 min voice memo , I deleted the app and it still shows the same thing .. any advices ?

How to remove Voice Memos files on my iPhone? Voice memo My iPhone 6 s plus - 32 gb on checking the settings- General- iPhone storage—> it shows the voice memo is using more than 1.2 gb I have deleted all the files/ shared some into other whatsapp chats and deleted the app and reinstalled it 3 times. still the space used by this app is 1.2 gb or more and there are no files in my voice memo app kindly hell me get rid of the 1.2 gb in this app

You may get better and prompt responses if you may kindly provide the iPhone Model that you have and the iOS version if it is known to you and re-post.
